Communication skills need to be an essential part of the training of Health Professionals dealing with breast cancer, as good communication skills can bring benefits both to patients’ satisfaction and the well-being of specialists.EUSOMA has developed this project for Health Professionals in breast cancer care. Breast Centres teams can use this format as an educational opportunity and also as a guide to develop in local language a training course in communication.  

TYPE OF SESSIONS:

STANDARD PRESENTATION: expert presentation on a specific topic

ROLE PLAYING: simulation of a patient-doctor conversation followed by psyco-oncologist comment

ROUND TABLE: open discussion among experts
